    A clothing and shoes donation container has been used for fly tipping.

    A clothes and shoes donation container has again been fly tipped with old house hold items and rubbish.

    The clothes and shoes donation container in Douglas place was used as a fly tipping point rather then clothes and shoes donations.

    Fly tipping has long been seen as a criminal offence and illegal under the Environmental Protection Act 1990.

    Fly tipping like litter dropping has been always noticed as attracting rats that carry diseases.

    Whoever does these things please use your local charity shops or donation centre rather then fly tipped them anywhere.

    It not only saves you from being charged for fly tipping but also saves the environment.

    If a neighbourhood could work together and help improve the environment and clean up after themselves know how to recycle. We could have a cleaner community.

    Good afternoon Fellow readers,

    I apologise for not writing weekly articles on here as i should more to come more book reviews, movie and TV show reviews and fashion reviews.

    Although fashion reviews and interviews will be done on my new and second website fashionandfriends42.wrodpress.com.

    Today is good Friday where christians will attend church and do the rememberance service of Jesus Christ where they pass the bread (his body) and the wine ( his blood). Which Jesus has said keep doing this in remembrance of me. (Greek scriptures of The bible) *Matthew – revelation.*

    Good Friday is also not only a service day to God and to Jesus christ, but it is also a quiet, peaceful day to sit back, relax and reflect upon the last few years how you did, what you can improve on and think what you could do.

    I used the early mornings to pray to god, read scriptures of the bible, clean my room and bed and think what i could sell on vinted and ebay, give to charity. Calculate my credit card use. Make a shopping list now i make the essential shopping like shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, soap, toothpaste and brushes, mouth wash and dental floss and face and eye cream, glow filter primer, deodorant.

    Perfume and and make up products like eye shadow, blush, lip stick, lip gloss and lip oil and serum and lip balm i am already stocked up and of course nail polish. face masks and foot masks too.

    These personal hygiene what my mum taught me and what God has said to do look after our health physical and mental health.

  • Books to read on International women’s day 2026

    Happy international women’s day everyone, as a book lover, author and writer i thought share some of my favourite female authors who saved me during bullying in school and female authors i started reading as an adult.

    1.) Dorothy Whipple – high wages.

    It is about women’s need and rights to work and own their own wages. When i watched the documentary at Blackburn’s museum and saw she was another female authors from Blackburn i was struck with excitement. Blackburn might not have the cold, elitists fashion like kensington chelsea and knightsbridge. But Blackburn was multi cultural, the textile industry and cotton town. Blackburn was full of art and also literature.

    High wages is exactly that story set back then when women were looked down for having a job or even self employment. Dorothy Whipple of course use her strong beliefs about working women.

    2.) Holly webb- The girl of glass.

    A fantasy fairytale about a girl who senses and suspects that the girl of glass is a ghost made to be real. Its a story about sisterhood, mother and daughter friendship. Wicked stepmothers much like you’re cinderella stories, this story helped me through primary school.

    3.) Alison Wier and Phillipa gregory

    Now the book i’m holding up is not one of Alison Weir six tudor queens series, but still written by Alison Weir. She is a historian and author of many historical fiction. Similar to Philippa Gregory and even her majesty Queen Camilla even shared these two authors on her queens reading room.

    4.) Queen Camilla has always been a big literature lover and supporter of books ever since she was a little girl. One if my main women in the literature industry i look upto. Her father and brother written books.

    5.) Dale Elizabeth Harper (Lady Tryon, third baroness) also known as kanga, i have always spoken dso fondly of Dale, called her my darling designer, Australian princess, fashion queen of my heart. Before she became a fashion designer she was a fashion writer for the melbourne office of Australian women’s weekly later fleet street office in London England. Her parents owned a publishing company in Melbourne Australia.

    5.) My mother Angelika Kraasch (Shaukat). My mother always supported me with reding she took me to the library every Saturday she listened to me read and saw me write pages after pages, saw me publish two books supported me as a young author and writer.

    Those are the authors and writers, literary lovers and supports i support for international women’s day 2026.In loving memory of my darling mama and darling designer and fashion queen Kanga Dale elizabeth Harper.

  • The truth of being a socialite that movie/films and tv shows get wrong.

    Today i was just reading through gloss magazine on the internet, and i came across this article that said how to live your life like a 1960s socialite. But that is not the exact fact of becoming a socialite.

    There are some correct information that are facts, and there some incorrect like the last subheading mentions be scandalous.Again they do not encourage to sleep with your best friends boyfriend or husband, or any of your female friends husbands and boyfriends.

    Btu what they do advise is when at a charity event or gala, throw a cocktail at one of your male friend and call him names. That is so wrong and let me tell you not every socialite is scandalous, they do not go through scandalous affairs, not create a scene or a scandal at an event. That would be seen as the typical Kardashian jenner, Hilton, Paris Hilton, Ivana Trump basically any american typ of socialite. Many american socialites are the ones that have celebrity friends, who use celebrities and famous people to climb the ladder.

    i always been fascinated with my fashion queen of my heart, soul sister, best friend Dale Elizabeth Harper nicknamed Kanga from her husband whom she called Ant. My Dale was an Australian socialite and fashion designer, she started of as a fashion writer for the australian women’s weekly and the women’s weekly office in fleet street london. I mentioned to her she has the looks of a fashion model, but she didn’t want to do professional modelling not wanting to be sculpted and moulded by managers who can not see the true essence of fashion. She designed colourful clothes with elasticated waist and pockets for omen who came out of maternity or like me felt intimidated by high end fashion.

    Her socialite status came from attending and hosting dinner parties, charity events and galas, she also since she was never invited to the MET gala or this invite only couture, haute couture shows hosted her own fashion shows from her home great dunford and boutique. But her only high profile friend ws the then prince of wales, his majesty the King charles. She never had celebrity freinds.

    Her majesty the queen queen Camilla was a British Socialite in her youth from 1960s – 2005, she like my fashion soulmate where in the same circle as they both were friends of King Charles. Known as his closest female confidantes, Camilla like Dale attended and hosted charity events. Both countryside women socialite.

    You heard it is true many people now days think socialite, they must be city girls, they must fashion models. The Kardashian/jenner family and Paris Hilton, Ivana Trump. Those were fashion models and socialites in the New York and LA los angelos. Also Parsi Hiltons british twin, not really twin but Tara Tomkinson Palmer was a british it girl and socialite who like paris was a fashion model modelling high end fashion, partying in nightclubs and being seen as it girls in their time.

    But the reality of being a socialite is understanding right i am asocial butterfly, i loe and i always attend events i have been invited too, i love hosting events mainly for charity.

    Build the influence and once you built your influence have people coming to you asking me advise on skin care , hair care, make up brands and products.What clothes to wear. Also i have also been asked to write poems and sings for others and i did that tag those people in the video and thanked them for their lovely comments and support and my social media went viral, i have been on TikTok live and often do lives on youtube and sing, dance engage with others, act making others laugh. read or write on a live video im an average reader, and i’m an author of two books, writer and trainee journalist.

    Also Juliet Mcdaniels written about luxury, if you cannot afford luxury, don’t worry, you can still be a social butterfly you are still a socialite. Do as a charity worker go shop at charity shops, get second furniture craft with second hand furniture and fashion.

    Concluding this article to reassure others, traditionally socialites do not need to get involved in scandals,they do not need to invest in luxurious items, they can get a vintage item at a charity shop on a budget.

  • Avenham park.

    Nature and animals have always been the best kind of therapy for us, whether you had along,stressful day at work or school, or out on a date or perhaps to hang around with your mates.

    Avenham park just a walk away from Preston’s high street Fishergate it even has a sign outside the main gate a notice board on what is on.

    When i visited Avenham park it was on a Wednesday this week, it was after a media lecture and workshop, just before ballet but it was ballet comp on that day.

    I went to Avenham park just to refresh after studying for the media law test, I wa always fascinated with nature and parks, they were always aressetin space for me.

    So as i continued and walked from the entrance, towards the japanese garden.Jusrt how beautiful it was and back the it used to be a duck pond.

    Avenham is around the corner from winckley square garden two beautiful clean places in nature and to reset your mind.

    This is a big tip to boost ones mental health, and it is all thanks to my mother who helped me and taught me how to tend to plants and flowers, growing your own crops.

    Whenever you are in Preston come visit Avenham park full of culture and history and rewind.

    Kanga my best friend and also how she resembles my mother

    Most of my articles were recently about mourning the death of a loved one, me mentioning about my mother and then the death of my truest bestie best friend the late lady Dale kanga tryon.

    I remember shortly after her death Journalist like Nigel Dempster, Glenys Roberts wrote about her in most horrific way. My fashion queen of my heart was not in a loveless marriage she and lord Tryon loved each other truly, they gave each other affectionate nicknames kanga and Ant. Yes, it was him who nicknamed her kanga king Charles.

    Both Nigel Dempster and Glenys Roberts both said she met the the prince of wales in Australia in the1960’s, well they are all wrong. Because her brother and her children say other wise, that it was lord Tryon who introduced them.

    There happened to be a mishap between back in 1998 between a builder who claims to have loved Dale and had an affair with her and the actress Sarah Miles.

    Now i already know and Dale herself, well mostly her children know that Sarah Miles was not a friend of My best friend Kanga Tryon. Neither were the two daily mail journalist Nigel dempster and Glennys Roberts, neither where any of the sun or daily mail journalist friends of my Bestie Kanga Tryon.

    I mean my bestie like me always saw everyone as a friend, she was one of the most friendly, kindhearted and caring people i’ve ever met.

    Also i remember reading an old daily mail article written by Glennys Roberts headlined what royal secrets will kanga take to her grave? and in there Roberts writes about dale resembling Diana, no, no, Dale Tryon Kanga my dearest aussie friend did not resemble Diana at all, Dale was not like Diana at all she was in a loving marriage.

    Lord Tryon never remarried after losing his precious Australian jewel, the precious australian jewel i forever keep in my heart. People on the internet those internet commentors always make up fantasy, thinking Kanga Tryon was public property. She wasn’t she wasn’t even famous, maybe visible yes but never famous.

    About Kanga’s resemblance, Glennys Robert was wrong to say she resembled Diana the late princess of wales,Kanga resembles my mother. Both were funny, kind, caring, had this zest for life. I miss them both and i always hold them both close in my heart.

    I love my Australian side and jewel, the fashion queen of my heart.

  • Happy new year 2026 and First book review of 2026 Adam power’s the Princess Diana conspiracy the evidence of murder and Jeffery Archer Next in line.

    Happy new year 2026 everyone to my fellow butterfly readers, i haven’t done most of these for along time i’ve been attending my first fashion show well with a folklore show, a new culture i learned, a new language. Also with losi g my mother but here i am my first booker reviews is a joined one.

    Yesterday i was just browsing the Blackburn central library, returning old books and burrowing new ones.I saw Adam Power’s investigative The princess Diana conspiracy the evidence of murder. But back then i didn’t feel ready to skim read through the book, but this week i had to burrow it. Also i was looking at burrowing a Jeffery Archer book, i burrowed next in line which i once read, but no harm in reading again, because you are not the same when you read again. This is true, because now i realised their is this connection between Archer’s next line, a fictional crime story regarding the then princess of wales and Power’s investigative book about Diana’s death.

    As i started reading Power’s book The princess Diana’s conspiracy, the line in the prologue already wants to convince the reader that Diana was killed in car accident. Not all car accident’s are murder they’re tragic and traumatic, but some are accident, Daina’s was always a talk of conspiracy, and with Diana’s leaked letter about her ex husband and his mistress were out to kill her. Diana has been suffering from mental health illnesses and this was paranoia.

    But this is not convincing, Power, however, did write about the paparazzi’s and of course did interviewed witnesses who witnessed the whole scene. on page 158, Power (2013)states that Henri Paul was goading, so provoking the paparazzi outside the ritz hotel on that same evening. “they could have given specific against the assassin but to late and people could easily prove that the paparazzi’s had nothing to do with the attack.” If this is true then this explains why people blame the royal family, King Charles and queen Camilla, but they are two down to earth and humble people, they wouldn’t plan a car accident, they had their own worries, beside his majesty had the custody over their sons William and Harry who were teenagers.

    Of course i only will give Adam Power one star for investigative research, but no this book sounds more sensational, rather then truth. Information many wanted to know and read,but why such a book. Again probably because Diana was one of the well known and famous and most moruned person. It happens a lot with celebrities, like Amy Wine house who died of alcohol poisoning but people question her fathers motives. Marylin Monroe, and so many other famous people.

    Now to why i felt this connection between Adam Power’s non fiction investigative research book and Jeffery Archer’s Next in line fictional crime novel. I Because Next in line story setting and plot is based around the royal family and on Diana the princess of wales learning the well researched information on royal protection officer.

    So i rate these two books one star only for their hard work and research, but if you are a Diana fan or fan of crime novels Jeffery Archer then yes you could read them.

  • The true meaning of socialite and how to become one.

    For years i have always been meaning to research both through books, articles, journals and of course going out meeting people building social connections.

    Socialites like the Kardashian jenner family and paris hilton are those American socialites who alert the press. also They have apress agent well more of a team of press agents. Who will help them not lose support and trust in the public.Remember how Paris Hilton did a lot crimes during her youth and that could have really messed her reputation, however, she had a press agent to built herself up.

    But you do not need a press agent to built your self as a socialite, a true socialite is someone who strives and values social interactions and attending social events and gatherings making a mark through their fashion what they are wearing.

    Coming from a true german socialite and best friends with an australian socialite lady Dale Tryon also known as Kanga.We both loved fashion and always challenged each other making bold statements with our fashion and social etiquette at charitable events. We were both philanthropist, i still am, a writer, author, and fashion designer.

    A true socialite and it girl do not need to be slim and skinny, even if you are chubby who does it hurt at least you are turning up to social gatherings. Paris Hilton and the Kardashian jenner family, they all have brainwashed the public and thinking people from working families cannot become socialites but anyone can be social meaning anyone can be a socialite.

    Get yourself into papers and magazines, i’m more on the local ones like lancashire telegraph. Being part of a charity event. Be good at that networking, influential people are not celebrities and social media followers, influential people the ones who own a wealthy company like a hotel owner, restaurant owner, or cafe or diner. Many social gatherings happen in restaurants and hotels. Those are built by true influential people.

    Most importantly make sure you have fun and get networking in public give both local and national media outlets something to write about outshine the haters.

    The Feeling of September

    So the 1st and 2nd september was spend finally enrolling onto journalism course, something i should have done ut it is never to late. then also on fist wednesday after attending the hear us heroes meeting i applied for a team member role at the blackburn branch. it is exciting you heard it right your favourite store is coming to Blackburn lancashire.

    and guess what upon applying as i love fashion both fast and slow balancing them, lovisa is the fast fashion brand. Usually my retail application where rejection no interviews just plain old, cold hearted rejection, mainly from two stores that stand next to each other in the Blackburn mall, NEXT and PRIMARK, so NEXT was my first disappointment application rejection as always, but lovisa was different.

    Fashion: The Lovisa Interview

    So lovisa the application was so different you had to film yourself for me easy, i do all the time on social media, but still when i saw the email on Saturday i received on Friday i already said yeah i know what retail store rejection is no interview, but they invited me to an interview, not like those care homes or on to one ones. a group interview.

    First meeting other candidates ice breaker challenge and the working in small groups, showing our team work skills. These are the interviews i find interesting meeting others and seeing showing instead of just sitting there and talking on and on about why i think i’ll be the one for the work.

    I don’t do words i love actions, showing them instead of saying, because a lot of times people will just say something but not mean it but when you show it and then say it with one or two words or sharing knowledge with everyone building connections.

    Also lovisa is that one fast fashion brand that is easy going, easy wear easy care, they ask their employees, candidates dress to impress yes but what speaks to you what connects you.

    And of course i love fashion i love playing aroun d with styles, with accessories, i can never go out without a single head band on.

    also i wore my dark blue kanga belt as a good luck my lucky charm, also blended in with my navy blue blazer from boutique by vee, rings one gold one silver. My darling designer Dale Tryon’s outfit choice, aka she is my australian fashion queen where i look upto.

    I try to keep my jewelry simple but elegant, my white pearl necklace and matching pearl bracelets i couldn’t find my earrings, also white beaded head band. Also i felt a little old being 24, whilst others where fresh out of college and i meant the british college, where teenagers are slowly turning 20.

    Literature: The Publisher’s Email

    So after bad experience and false promises with and an us publisher author house, i contacted literature agent, again rejection then i thought i’m the author and writer and only i can represent my books. As i did with waterstones, feeling nervous but speaking to the staff anyway, and then following what they mentioned how to get my books out on their shelves or there online store and yes i checked water stones online store invisible child by lin zainab.

    Now here is the uk publisher Austin macauley publisher i once was on ther ewebsite submitted my book after careful reading what they expected but thought so if they reject im fine i can do everything myself, i’ve been rejected before, but yesterday on Monday 08th September 2025 i received an email from Austin macauley publisher about my submitted manuscript change, and congratulating me that they are excited to publish my book and my manuscript , my story was something that felt a lot of readers would align with.

    I feel something successful coming, now i just royalty and celebs to read it and promote it, ok no only joking, but could be cool.

    I wore silver, she wore gold

    We didn’t match—we mirrored

    In the quiet of rejection

    We found the shimmer of becoming

    Also the interview with lovisa today was amazing a group interview where i saw other fashionista even if we would be on different courses.

    But fashion and journalism do work well together who doesn’t love a journalist with a touch of fashionable knowledge.

    Meeting old friends and new friends, building life long connections.

  • The dangers of celebrity worship and how to overcome it

    Over last week whilst attending different workshops around Blackburn with Darwen town centre, Museum and market i have also been doing research on Celebrity worship, because lets face it is a real issue, whilst scrolling on any type of social media i see many fan pages of famous, popular celebrities, whilst some whom i follow and interact with are cute, adorable and sweet, some of them i have noticed are extreme celebrity worship, to the point here they have to film little bits of there favoured celebrities, make up a parasocial and hypothetical friendship or romantic relationship. which is the third and extreme stage of celebrity worship according to McCutcheon, Lange, and Houran in 2002. who made a scale with

    1. Entertainment social – Where the fan/follower just engages with other fan/followers over a favoured celebrity they may create beautiful post and video/edits.
    2. Intense -personal – where fan/follower starts to feel a personal connection to the celebrity.
    3. Borderline–Pathological: obsessive, identity-fused attachment – where the fan’/follower starts to feel entitled to the celebrity and claiming them theirs.

    Mccutcheon and Maltby examined over 200 adults from the US and UK and have found that celebrity worshippers where foolish, persistent and submissive and even less honest.

    Someone famous and successful can make others feel seen and heard even if they have regular life’s. the article goes on to read that people obsess over a celebrity as they resonate with a certain character of a favoured celebrity.

    this way it can give you a rounded number of where you are on celebrity worship scale, but to prevent one for falling to deep into obsession of a celebrity. It gives practical, therapeutic advise like drawing/sketching or painting using mixed media for a portrait of a favoured celebrity. create bookmarks, zine pages and books mini, midi, large or simple A4 landscape or portrait book stories, poems and song writing. Create something if you have a garden that reminds you of your favourite celebrity. I am not a sculptor but i know some wonderful sculptors, also research what charity your favoured celebrity follows or helps out and find the charity and see how you can get involved in the community.

    Also the third and final step do go seek therapy which is another way and also often the first step to connecting with the real worlds. i know so many celebrities have Ariana Grande, selena Gomez, Demi levato, miley ray cyrus, Dua Lipa, Dove Cameron have all been open about their mental health and seeking therapy so why should non celeb not seek therapy, therapy is for everyone wether famous or not.

    Newport academy states girls between ages 14 to 16 with low/poor body image who show intense personal levels of a celebrity is evident.

    A personal example from myself i as a teenager had a very low and poor body image i hated the way i look, the way i talked even though people found my voice cute, it was all about my outer beauty, that i didn’t appreciate until my early twenties. where i started experimenting with different skin care, hair care and make up products and finding my style. but i started love myself, date myself take myself out on dinner dates and bought myself flowers well not exactly flowers but to the movies or cinemas as we say in the UK, retail therapy as i love and always have loved fashion.

    Also i was a teenager in the 2010s i did feel a little left out that i didn’t have a smart phone but that is the good thing, i felt like a teenager in the swinging sixties no mobile/smart phines, no social media and i’m glad i didn’t watch reality tv shows like dress to impress, dinner date, love island any of them or the real house wives.

    I am glad i watched cartoon instead like loud house for comedic and laughter, My little pony friendship is magic came out in 2010 and before that as child in the 2000s i watched the old my little pony from the 1980s, winxclub, and i love anime still do. This saved me from falling deeply into that celebrity worship. Lets face it last time i got myself a woman weekly magazine it talked about those weight loss jabs but before that was apage of famous celebrities who looked way skinnier then there usual weight. Weather they had weight loss jabs or surgery is there choice not mine. This only teaches us not to follow a trend and become a trendsetter, create your own trends. I see so many people doing this trend and bless them as they think they are following who they are but they say in a world full of kardashians be this certain celebrity, no in a world full of celebrities including the kardashians be yourself and i praise those who comment be yourself under these post.

    Many books and articles and J. Reid Meloy in his book stalking, threatening and attacking public figures in page 277 compulsive buying an object used or favoured by the favoured celebrity. Doing something against the law for the celebrity which is often associated with stalking or threatening the public figure.

    Michael S. Levy (2015). in his book entertainment obsession: understanding our addiction in page 50, so many people struggle with their life’s and self esteem, whether it started in childhood as their parents never mirrored and praised their accomplishments.

    As adult it is a result of job loss or finance, rejection by a spouse, friend, friendship group or jobs.

    This is my research on celebrity worship, i came across this as i just typed in fanpages on TikTok search bar and few therapist and life coaches discussed about celebrity worship, this interested me as i know i had poor body image as a teenager and people calling me a loner when they never knew me was frustrating, but i’m also glad i didn’t know much about celebrities.

    However, i have to delete videos i edited on camilla as most of them where ridiculous, i’m no camilla or camilla fan page i respect and admire her, she is a human with flaws has been pitted against women which people should stop, i do followed the queens reading room as a writer and reader myself.
