  • Bolton

The town centre of Lancashire places to eat, places to shop for fashion and books, to stunning historical architecture.

Whilst being at the Bolton interchange do grab refreshments at Greggs, costa coffee or the corner shop at one entrance and exit of Bolton interchange. Whilst getting outside of Bolton interchange you come face to face with small shops, like the bolton news, lycamobile and corner shops, to walking along seeing the swan pub.

Also before the swan Do not forget church, many are still religous.

Or before the swan we have ARMY anyone interested eating in pubs.

And look will you look at that Balmoral pub at the end of the street, see you’re at Balmoral and they say its in Scotland.

Walking straight ahead and carefully crossing the street, yes there is another coffee shop but next to is is the main deal a therapeutic centre they offer free counselling this would be good.

Another corner shop and barber shop for men hairstyle and hair cutting.

and don’t worry ladies their is a hair salon for us women opposite the street, near take aways like per peri.

To islamic travel agent at the corner where we see the war memorial.

Again here are more pubs if you’re a big fan of Wetherspoons this is your square, very nostalgic and old fashioned an cleaned, neatly paved pavements.

The bar and another vintage old fashioned hair and beauty salon.

and here are some family friendly restaurants Courtneys and Shah.

which then leads from takeaway to takeaway and barber shops.

There you go there is the Swans end of the street.

Or cocktail bar close to the town centre.

Again another pub and a beauty salon to check out and book an appointment.

From following along to another cafe and corner shop, glasses shop/ optician.

Next to Entwistle green estate agent, is the famous UK bookstore Waterstone and yes i always check out boo stores and charity shops, charity shops i can check out the fashion. Also superdrug is next to waterstones too.

Always love walking past buskers and listening to their incredible music.

Sally beauty for skin care and hair care routine.

And turning right we come face to face with the new primark, but one would need to go inside and see its like a mall.

Long opening hours but worth it look at the archtecture and intrior designs of this mall.

From fancy boutiques to to the works next to it and Specsavers and coffee shop once you take the lift or escalator up where you would also be able to watch a movie. To visiting Next and new look and more vintage dress boutique and cafes and the perfume shop, leading onto primark.

Love the artwork and you should downstairs restaurants, very much like a museum and vintage.

    And onto the second floor.

Look at the artwork from this space or charity about helping victims of domestic abuse.

The art work and interior and architecture.

And now goi g back down to the lifts.

and making myself out look at these old fashioned photos.

and here is abuilding that offers old fashioned rooms.

Look at these cobbles and old buildings.

To the bolton council and law enforcement buildings belonging to the council.

To the museum, art gallery, aquarium and library all in one building and i mean they are all knowledgeable my favorite places.

To the Egyptian history collections, and bare in mind remember Katy perry’s dark horse the costume and and music.

The water fountain near the Bolton council is just like the icing on top of the cake.

and that is my trip to Bolton shal i visit Bolton again the first place to visit is the library, museum, art gallery and aquarium. Also its time for me to get involved in karaoke bars, back when i was young not only did i shy away from society and societal group expectations, but i always loved to sing instead of always on TikTok live dress up go outside and join karaoke bar.

  • Blackpool

The UK version of Las Vegas.

The only thing why Blackpool reminded me of Las Vegas, is because lots of people go there usually chill and relax, after years and month of hard work, and with children being in school. Like Las Vegas Blackpool seems to have casino like when i got off the bus, there was a casino right outside the bus stop. waling along there where many shops or even takeaways.

Here we have istanbul Takeaway restaurant, next to it we seem to have a buddha restaurant. Also right towards the end they have a charity shop, cancer research uk. Where women can do their nails or even get a tattoo, but i’m not a fan of tattoos.

From wide range of coffee shops to the station pub, also seeing the tram, i remember back the town in Germany where i lived for me only seven years, Duisburg i often had to catch the tram to kindergarten with mummy and my brother, and from home to town and back.

Also thinking of spending the night why not try premiere inn, also Blackpool has many hotels to stay.

or maybe a kittle old fashioned like the black pug.

From the benches shaped like the trams to this beautifully sculpted statue.

and look you can not just see the beach but also the beach, i am not sure why i am fretting over london when people living in Lancashire, when i live closer to two beaches Blackpool and Morecambe Bay, where i can build sandcastles and houses, and go swimming in the natural sea.

The bar and lounge, where people drink alcohol or even any non alcoholic drinks fish and chips is there too.

    The Blackpool tower

Also closer to the Blackpool tower did i no tell you it has something in common with Las Vegas.

Also the white chapel for anyone religious.

Chai latte for lunch from starbucks.

    look at the interior designing.

That its for now, love to travel and share my exepriance.

  • A trip to Chorley

Thursday 06th February 2025-hidden treasures and things to do in Chorley, Lancashire.

Making your way out of the Chorley interchange bus station opposite is where you can shop at BM bargains to stock up your home with fresh and delicious ingredients, to cook and bake. M&S collection is also close by if you prefer to do your grocery shopping or fashion related shopping at M&S which has a cafe near it to or the REEL cinema to treat yourself to a movie.

To all my lovely fashion girlies Here is Eve boutique if you’re looking for modernised party wear, The books & Bygones boutique i closed ever Wednesday and Thursday which i had bad luck, but maybe some other time. however there was abook store at the Chorley market near the market cafe and food, well more near the clothing line.

Also closer to the bus station was this vintage and nostalgic looks like a hotel but seems to have rooms available, so it is kind of like a hotel. the down stairs book had me in awestruck, as i love the 1970s so much. they had that nostalgic scenery, ver cutsey, very demure and very elegantly romantic.

Much loved and appreciated was the old fashioned, church with the churchyard neatly trimmed grass and path ways cleared although after lunch making my way back to the bus station someone must have thrown food their because there was a flock of pigeons. The streets in and around the town centre where clean, also driving to Chorley and back to Blackburn Wheelton and Wheelton le Dale where so much nostalgic, pure green and clean. just as each path i walked in an d around chorley town centre was clean and green.

The path was neatly straightened and here the building opposite the shepherds is a skin clinic with right next to a dance studio, also the one with a purple door seemed to be an antique store, next to it is where you can learn singing, piano or any instruments or do some shopping to get some things for the home.

And please only go the place next to the music tuition class when you think you or someone you loved is either on their death bed or leave something in your will.

I refused to sit on these benches as they seemed like these men either are buried next to the benches in their honour. The second bench was more sad a the first police officer who died mysteriously in 1988. Gosh i love history.

Talking about the old fashioned bar and creative lounge VESTRY and right next to that old fashiond bar is the shop i’ve recommended unless you want to shop at the charity shops walking along, like cancer research uk, Bernardo’s the children society or even the works.

    The maidens

This boutique had a vintage theme about it but the designs are modern a twist of modern and vintage mixed, opposite was the crown pub which had live horse racing on something i adored, love horses and horse racing.

Moving along before making a turn towards Chorley market what on earth does this boutique stand for temptations, is this to tempt someone making someone attracted to you.

Next to the Chorley express shop, is a vintage, musical bar to get the taste buds dancing.

Another main church this is st Mary’s church upon exiting the town centre and carefully and consideringly crossing the street, very lovely surrounded by nature and history.

Walking along here in between Natwest and TSB bank seems relaxing and away from hustle and bustle, but here down these steps must be close to the theatre.

And don’t think i was forwarding you to the chorley advice and help centre only if you truly need it but i was looking at the bakery next to it if not the market has loads of food near it.

Unless you want to spend the time at the shed, no not an actual shed the pub shed.

Looks more child friendly, doesn’t it?

A cosy lovely boutique that sells winter wear opposite the market cafe.

Rhode island coffee shop we have one in blackburn that has a cosy reading corner for the bookworms, well backburn rhode island not the chorley one.

The prince of Wales- Well i do recall seeing snippet of King Charles speech back in his youth he made a speech about mental health and mental health facilities and him visiting a mental health hospital in Chorley, Lancashire wonder if he spend some time at this pub.

Well next to the prince of Wales pub, are some hair and beauty salon and take aways for anyone enjoying a hair and beauty treatment, skin care, hair care and make up routine.

Well No exactly a take away it is free and probably still needs renvating, but there is health shop near it.

Here are some retail inside of Chorley market – nice handbags to work trousers/

A leaflet notice board outside Chorley town hall.

The Dolce and Bush restaurant seemed privilege and for celebrities guest or for romantic dates or even if i you want to hang around with friends, catching up on the latest gossip.

Northcotes hairdressers and a tattoo or piercing opposite the fancy restaurant.

A charity shop i found along walking from the TSB bank and look at these pretty, prom dresses.

As i mentioned i love history well here is a history from world war one and world war two.

    The sun andset cafe.

I picked the right, and friendly and welcoming cafe for lunch, when i entered i was greeted with warm, friendly and welcoming smiles and morning which i greeted them back , where i ordered earl gray tea hot drinks where only £2, salad and soup where around £7 to £8, i ordered the soup of the day, which was tomato and birkely, good since i had a little bit of a cold sup and tea is the cheapest and healthiest lunch ever. total order £9.50 but more cheaper then chester and those other takeaways next to the bus station.

Do not fear nothing was broken it was such a lovely design, the door and display window where perfect, vintage darker green and matching darker orange ceiling, also wallpaper going up the stairs, i was downstairs i was about to sit on one of those high chairs near the main entrance but on staff saw i struggled and showed me the quite and lowe seats not sure how it looked like upstairs but more seats perhaps and maybe low seats. This cafe is where i will take my friends, family and even future children to.

and to finish of the day sit inside the Chorley bus station and watch the trains and vehicles drive past.

Very neat, clean and demure in Chorley, but i only saw ina nd around town centre and the market, if you live in chorley feel free to drop a comment how the private areas are, if they are clean, to but wheelton and Wheelton le Dale is clean and around the countryside and green and clean.
