What a weekend that was, there was so many activities so many festivals, and one particular festival for readers, writers , authors, poets and song writers.
The queens reading room festival, everyone was buzzing with excitement, the hustle and bustle of tents.

The queens reading room first started as a bookclub on paper where her majesty queen Camilla has scribbled them down, then it became a bookclub on instagram, later a charity in 2023.
Which hosted its very own the queens reading room festival at Hampton court palace, it then followed a second festival in 2024, last year in 2025 the festival shifted to another countryside in Derbyshire, chatsworth house.
The doors opened again this year on Saturday 19th September and Sunday 20th September 2026.

The back of the house facing the southlawn also entering chapel stage, but i didn’t prebook anything.

The first book signing tent at the beginning near the entrance when coming down the steps to the south lawn, Elif Shafak was also there signing her books after giving a talk but i didn’t book in as iwas with the poetry tent.

This tent was my favourite the book club tent, this is where queen Camilla announced her autumn book picks, and generously and kindly handed each book club a book club bundle.

Everyone looking around the book club tent ready for this afternoon, where i alos left signed copies of my first two books.

A message from Her majesty Queen Camilla about the joy of reading.

The book that changed my life scenes and also the cards that visitors were allowed to write on.

The book donation station.

The writers room much like the poetry tent only more talks and less making written work.

The fountain was very much pretty to look at and right near the fountain tent again another prebooked talk.

The poetry tent where you might have seen me, i wasn’t at the garden stage as that was also prebooked talk.
