The pink dress

The inspiration behind the pink dress i designed and sewn and the fabric.

So i want to be a fashion designer great, first i recreate my old design sketches, use the colour palate of course pink for the pink dress this one. Then the fabric which i went with linen which i was also lucky that the fabric store i bought it from had a special offer of £2 four different fabrics was only £8 in total.

The reason i went with a smooth linen was because i wanted something environmentally friendly, then on top of the pink linen fabric we have a hot pink, flowery patterned thin, cashmere fabric.

The real story behind the pink dress is not that my favourite colour is pink, which is true i love pink but i wanted to raise awareness towards breast cancer and and stand up to bullying.
